Shawn Pyle
President and CEO

Shawn leads and develops DXI Construction’s overall strategy as the President and CEO. With more than 30 years of operational and business experience, Shawn develops long-term customer relationships and contributes innovative operational techniques.

Shawn joined DXI in 1994 as a foreman and successfully worked his way up through the organization, ultimately taking over the company in 2017 as President, CEO and Owner. Shawn and his wife have three children. Shawn’s hobbies include hunting and motorsports.

Pat Dixon
Vice President of Operations

Pat is responsible for all aspects of Field Operations for DXI Construction. Pat skillfully manages and schedules 300 craft employees and more than 500 pieces of equipment. His approach has delivered unmatched efficiency to DXI’s construction operations.

Pat joined the DXI Construction team in 2003 as Utility Superintendent and carries 30+ years of field experience, including various positions with Crouse Construction. Pat enjoys scuba diving with his family in his free time.

Gregg Lenane
Vice President of Project Management

As Vice President of Project Management, Gregg is responsible for all aspects of Project Management and oversight on our job sites. His operational experience is instrumental in developing innovative solutions to ensure that DXI delivers projects under budget and on schedule.

Gregg joined DXI Construction in 2002 as a Project Manager. Previously a General Superintendent at T.C. Simons, Gregg has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Gregg’s hobbies include hunting and golfing.

Josh Pyle
Vice President of Estimating

As Vice President of Estimating, Josh has overall responsibility for bidding on projects for clients and oversight of estimating personnel. Josh has a wide range of construction industry experience and strong technical skills to enable effective review of project plans for complete scope of work and to build client relationships.

Josh joined DXI in 1999 and worked his way up from field operations to Project Manager and Estimator.

A.J. Verdecchia
Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary

A.J. joined DXI in 2013 as our Chief Financial Officer. His responsibilities include all aspects of finance, information technology, risk management and human resources to steer the company toward disciplined and continuous growth.

A.J. brings over 25 years of finance and administrative leadership experience with him from energy, technology and manufacturing companies like Coherent, Citrix Systems and Union Drilling. He earned an MBA at Florida Atlantic University and a BS-Finance at University of Maryland. He also earned a CPA certification from the State of Virginia. A.J. and his wife have two children and his hobbies include golfing and biking.


Keith Jacobi
Regional Manager – Eastern Shore

Keith joined DXI in 2006 and currently leads the Georgetown, Delaware office, where he is responsible for the development of opportunities in the lower Delaware, Maryland and Virginia Eastern Shore areas. His responsibilities include the procurement, execution and project management of all successfully bid projects.

Keith has 25 years of industry-related estimating and project management experience, and he credits his strong work ethic to his father and grandfather, who were leaders in the Delaware civil and sitework construction industry. Keith enjoys spending time with family and friends and is especially proud of his two college-graduate children who have successful positions in their respective industries.

D.J. Cox
Regional Manager – Maryland

D.J. joined DXI in 2005 and has made the most of his opportunity carrying many titles. D.J. currently leads the Baltimore Area office. His responsibilities include business development and the procurement and execution of projects in the Greater Baltimore area. D.J. has over 20+ years of industry experience ranging from Equipment Operator to Project Management and has spent the last 5+ years overseeing DXI sitework development at the Tradepoint Atlantic Site in Sparrows Point, Baltimore where DXI has successfully completed over 13-million square feet of industrial building pad development, as well as miles of utility installation.

When out of the office, D.J spends much of his time driving the DXI Motorsports Top Alcohol Funny Car on the NHRA Drag Racing Series Tour.

Levi Lloyd
Regional Manager – Maryland

Levi joined DXI in 2010 and currently oversees our projects in the northern region of Maryland. After moving from his home state of Florida and working for another local contractor, Levi gained his years of experience in sitework construction through extremely demanding work and dedication. Levi’s responsibilities include project management, estimating and monitoring the health of some of our marquee projects through their lifecycle from start to finish and adjusting their schedules to maximize their efficiency.

Levi is a devoted husband, father and grandfather and enjoys spending his time with family, friends, and playing a great game of football.

Josh Ennis
Regional Manager – Virginia

Josh joined DXI in 2018 as Project Manager and later provided oversight for the Sterling, Virginia office to support company’s expansion into Northern Virginia. He spent 17 years working with Hensel Phelps on a wide range of projects in the Mid-Atlantic region after graduating from East Carolina University with a degree in Construction Management in 2001. Josh is responsible for business development, project management leadership, and oversight of scheduling across the Northern Virginia area. Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons as well as hunting and fishing.
