Project Spotlight: The Gallery at Roland Park (Baltimore, MD)
DXI Construction was selected to deliver a complex site addition for The Falls at Roland Park retirement living community in Baltimore City.
Set against steep hillside terrain and constrained by active community surroundings, this project required precise execution and a strong emphasis on erosion and sediment control.
To address these challenges, DXI prepared the hillside for the installation of Storm Pods—an environmentally responsible underground stormwater management system. These modular precast structures improve runoff control while optimizing cost and efficiency. Installation spans six locations across the site.
Scope of Work
DXI is self-performing key elements of the project, including:
- 20,000 cubic yards of cut-to-fill earthwork
- Installation of 3 sand filters
- 6 Storm Pods across the site
- 1,200 feet of water line
- 600 feet of sewer line
- 1,800 feet of storm drain
- Water main installation
- Electrical duct bank installation along an active highway
Execution in Challenging Conditions
Working within tight site constraints and alongside an active residential community, the project highlights DXI’s ability to deliver safe, precise, and efficient construction solutions in complex environments.
DXI Construction remains committed to building resilient infrastructure that supports long-term performance and sustainability.
