DXI has been awarded the I-95 ETL (Express Toll Lanes) NB Extension MD 24 project by the Maryland Department of Transportation. Beginning in 2025 and expected to take approximately two years to complete. This major infrastructure project will see DXI completing the installation of two Express Toll Lanes (ETL’s) and three General Purpose Lanes (GPL’s) which will ultimately transition into three GPLs at the northern project limits.
DXI is proud to be the contractor the MDTA has chosen to perform this major infrastructure project that ultimately will support the long-term growth of one of Maryland’s busiest interstates.
DXI will be self-performing much of the work to include:
• 150,000 cubic yards of cut to fill
• 15,000 linear feet of reinforced concrete storm drain
• 200 precast concrete structures for SWM
• 36-foot box culvert extension at HaHa Branch, maintaining existing stream flow
In addition to:
• Installation of 300 drilled shafts and 5,000 feet of noise barrier wall
• 250 post and panel retaining wall
• Two Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) retaining walls
• 10,000 linear feet of concrete barrier
• 100,000 tons of graded aggregate base (GAB)
• 90,000 tons of hot mix asphalt
• 15,000 linear feet of reinforced concrete storm drainpipe
